About me
- My journey as a wood carving artist began with my grandfather, a skilled woodworker. My fondest childhood memories revolve around spending time in his workshop, sparking a lifelong passion for the craft. In my late teens, I honed my skills at Fox and Table, a joiner's shop where I worked with large native timbers. Continuing my education, I earned my diploma with honors in carving and painting in my early twenties. Now, as a 30-year veteran, I find something magical in finding drift or salvaged wood and pouring my energy into exposing its inner beauty, creating an amalgamation of my concepts and the beauty of mother nature.
